This weekend sees the release of Cappa‘s next extremely catchy number. ‘Next Ex’ is hooky indie pop in all its glory – super fun and addictive. Well worth a listen on to brighten up this gloomy Monday.
Listen to the debut track ‘Wet Dreams’ from the 19 year old, Toronto hailing, singer songwriter Saya. Our current situation: this track blaring full volume whilst munching on a Calippo – perfect combo for this promising sunshine!
Well worth a listen if not a little dance around:
Now this song from the Copenhagen/Melbourne based boys is just brilliant. This track has a The War on Drugs esc rolling percussion that’s emotive and enthralling. Nice work guys. Listen to MENTON here:

On Saturday the 18th of July we will be taking over The Social in Soho to present a variety of fantastic up & coming artists from across the UK including SHAW, Diamond Empire, Charles and Theo Altieri. If brand spanking new music from folk to r&b is what you’re searching for then put this date in your ruddy diary.
Today we introduce Club Paradise, aka Mark Torres. He’s a Spanish/Australian singer songwriter come producer based in London currently working on an EP that is going to be nothing short of exciting!
Tracks such as Salvation have elements of Whilk and Misky to them whilst his song ‘Strays’ is much more chilled. Check it out below and absorb the beautifully relaxing melody, lulling military drums rolls and electronic twirls. Nice work!

Clean Cut Kid is a name that has been frequently whispered on the rumour mill for months now and lo and behold their debut track ‘Vitamin C’ is FINALLY here!
Its different and empowering to say the least with rolling positive choruses and repetitive guitar picks. Having just signed to Universal publishing and Polydor these kids from Liverpool are definitely ones to watch!
Blackjack London events never cease to please. fact.
Back in April I returned to The Social to see Theo Altieri and Only Girl. Altieri’s tunes were confident and catchy in a nostalgic, schoolboy, ‘early Kooks’, indie kinda way however the star of the evening was definitely Only Girl. Her humble, honest and natural aura flowed effortlessly throughout the set and the audience bared witness to her beautifully innocent song dedication to her other half: ‘Only Boy’.
Only Girl ‘Bittersweet’ is on repeat on my Summer playlist and it will undoubtedly be snapped up into the next inevitable Eton Messy/Kygo/Schulz summer house rework.
Until then, Only Girl is confirmed to play at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, I highly recommend you go and check her out!
